Spend Time Together

Learn to Love Each Other Again by Spending Time Together

Many times couples feel as though they have fallen out of love with each other after extended periods of time of not spending enjoyable time together.

In modern life, we wake up, rush to work, rush home, eating when we can, trying to achieve all the lofty goals we set for ourselves. We barely make time for ourselves, let alone our spouses. It takes a dedicated effort to make sure that you are spending enough time with the one you love.

All Work and No Play Makes a Dull Marriage

Without taking time off from work and responsibilities to have fun and reconnect, you are likely creating a dull marriage and not allowing yourelves the opportunity to continuously fall in love with each other. Unfortunately, this leaves open the possibility that you and your spouse will begin to feel that you have fallen out of love with each other.

Before I go further, I want to mention that most couples, despite saying that they have fallen out of love, are still in love. It is a matter of rekindling the romance and finding those lost feelings of love. Sometimes the feelings are not so much lost as hiding behind negative feelings such as anger, resentment, abandonment, loneliness, and neglect.

Spend Time Together and Enjoy It!

Pick up the phone and call your spouse right now. Schedule a time to spend some time together – it does not matter what it is, so long as it is enjoyable and you do it together.

Choose Wholesome Fun

I suggest you avoid scenes that are centered around flirting and singles such as night clubs, and instead choose more wholesome fun. There are many things to do, if you only look. Miniature golf, bowling, pool, sightseeing, museums, arcades – there are many activities! Just do it together and go with the attitude that you’re going to have fun.

Go out! Enjoy yourselves!
